I started a new meetup for illustrators who want to get together in NYC. With the help of other illustrators, my goal is to promote events and other opportunities to network such as gallery openings, happy hours, picnics in the parks, etc. I’ve been doing this same thing with a group of museum professionals for the NYC Emerging Museum Professionals (a part of the American Association of Museums) and it has been very successful, so I wanted to give it a try with illustrators. If you know of any events that are coming up please fill me in and I will try to share it!
The meetup is called Illustrators of NYC.
